2013 was both a challenging and exciting year for T.Ware as we strive to realize the T.Jacket vision. While there are people who are supportive of our efforts, and users who benefit from the T.Jacket, it is still early days and the T.Ware team is fully aware of the need to create more awareness for the T.Jacket and allow people from various parts of the world to use it.
In order to achieve this goal and to kickstart 2014, we had a team innovation camp at Sentosa Island in Singapore to visualize T.Ware’s goals and directions for the new year and beyond.
So first, welcome to our humble-abode kampong huts at Costa Sands Resort, Sentosa.
Best part of having a retreat at Sentosa is we get to hold meeting sessions at different parts of the beach and chill with the wind.
One of the first sessions we had was the Design team session. Our design team gathered an abundance of useful feedback from the team members.
Following that, we discussed about task management and prioritization based on their importance and urgency.
We also had a design workshop, in which we learnt about the Ten Types of Innovation and how to identify companies’ innovation frameworks.
In another part of the design workshop, the team members had fun getting to know each others’ interests before generating an interest map that bonds all the interests together.
Through this interests map, we are able to visualize each individual's interest and this is important to encourage better team work.
When we work hard, we must play hard as well! Here we are playing dodgeball. Watch out!
The guys got to their favorite sport – soccer!
We also didn’t miss out playing a simple game of tic-tac-toe on the sand as well.
Overall, we had a very fruitful camp. Everyone is excited and inspired to bring better solutions to you, our users and supporters.
Here is wishing everyone a great year ahead and continue spreading the joy of hugs!
Cheers from the T.Ware team!
